Rosa was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up, Rosa had hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, lizards, and a couple of 5lb Chihuahuas. Her passion for animals started at a young age. In 2015, she began to volunteer at her local shelter helping neonatal kittens. She then found herself working for a kitten rescue where her love for feline friends grew. Rosa continued to work in the vet field while pursuing her bachelors in Biology which she received in 2017 from California Sate University of Northridge. She has worked in various hospitals, ultimately bringing her skills and experience to Dog and Cat Hospital Calabasas.

Rosa shares her home with her boyfriend Chris, and their 3 adorable rescue cats, Rock, Charlie, and Lily. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, going on cruises and finding new places to eat.
